Philanthropy Manager

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospective supporters through strategic cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and relationship management.

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies that support annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, special campaigns, and other philanthropic initiatives to achieve revenue goals.

  • Collaborate with the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, Board of Directors, and organizational leadership to develop and implement donor engagement and fundraising strategies.

  • Represent WCA at community events, donor meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and philanthropic support.

  • Lead, supervise, coach, and develop philanthropy staff, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, philanthropy, donor relations, development, sales, or relationship management.

  • At least two years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • Experience working toward measurable fundraising or revenue goals.

  • Experience using donor database/CRM systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet State of Idaho driving requirements.

  • Successful completion of background check.

  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor events and community activities.
