The City of Boise is seeking a collaborative, mission-driven Grants Analyst to identify, secure, and manage funding that supports affordable housing, homelessness response, transportation, and active transportation initiatives. In this role, you'll work across City departments and with community partners to bring critical projects to life, ensuring grant-funded programs deliver lasting benefits for Boise residents.

The Grants Analyst manages the full lifecycle of grants, including prospect research, application development, contract and agreement coordination, compliance monitoring, reporting, and closeout. The ideal candidate brings experience in public sector, nonprofit, or grant-funded environments, along with a strong understanding of grant regulations and funding requirements. Success in this role requires excellent relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex funding programs while helping turn strategic priorities into meaningful community outcomes.

Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, law or a related field
Two years of equivalent work experience, such as grants and/or contracts management experience, experience interpreting laws and regulations or auditing or regulatory compliance monitoring experience
Or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
Knowledge of:
Principles, methods and practices of regulatory compliance monitoring
Techniques and methods used in sound business practices.
